Resident Evil 4 Remake News Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Village It’s important to note though that Resident Evil 4 is much more action-focused than any of the other remade Resident Evil games, so the remake will have to find a way to adapt that. What’s also interesting to consider is that there’s a distinct possibility Capcom choose to add completely unique story elements to this version of the game. Mixing in Ada’s campaign in order to make it part of the main game is something that Capcom could be seeking to do, though it’s likely we won’t know the full extent of any changes until further gameplay is shown off. It could be original content or it could be an adaptation of several sequences from the main Resident Evil 4 Remake itself. The announcement trailer for the game also confirms that Capcom is developing some form of VR content for the game, though we don’t know exactly what that is as of yet. Hopefully it keeps the essence of the original game while still having a fresh feeling. It’s going to be extremely interesting to see exactly how much this game takes advantage of next-gen consoles, and whether fans of the series react as positively to this game as they did to the other remakes, given the massive departure of genre that RE4 was and still is to this day compared to the other remakes. Resident Evil 4 Remake will be launching across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC on March 24th, 2023.
